Just wanted to do a quick update on the results I’m getting with P90X (lean). I am on week 8 (half way through!), and although I haven’t lost much weight, I do see a big difference in my body. I think I lost about 2 lbs since day 1, and right now my weight fluctuates between 111 and 112lbs. My arms and legs are less flabby and my stomach is smaller. I can fit into clothes a little better and I feel stronger, healthier, and the most fit I’ve felt in my life. For those of you who have been discouraged, I was ready to give up around week 4, 5 because I thought I wasn’t seeing results, but I’m glad I stuck to it because I really started seeing results around week 6. It started with my legs getting noticeably thinner. Then, I got a little discouraged again so I started additional running in week 7, and by now, I feel and see results more and more everyday. I am halfway through and hopefully I will continue the rest of the 45 days with even better, if not completely satisfactory results! It just feels great to get off my butt and actually do something for my health. :) Will keep you posted.
P.S. I also went camping over the weekend for the first time by the lake. I drove about 3 hours to get there and we went in a group of about 30 people. I only went for 1 night though. I started to feel dirty and missed my bathroom/shower at home, haha. As for makeup, I had a hard time deciding what to bring since I never went camping before, but decided on bringing minimal products. I brought Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder for sheer cover (I have some redness), Lingering brow pencil to lightly shape the brows, liquid eyeliner, and a tinted lipbalm for some color. So when the morning came, I was rushing, putting on my makeup in the tent, and made it look as natural as possible but when everyone was done getting ready I noticed that the other girls in our group had full on, black smokey eye/lashes/blush/powder/lipstick, even when we were about to go in the water! And to think, I thought I was the only one who was stressing about what I looked like! Next time, I’ll just pack whatever I please, haha. Overall, camping was a fun experience, and I would love to go again. It feels nice to get away into the peace and quiet once in a while.

Snapshot of the lake from the car. We camped on the other side.
